So week one was pretty straight forward. Of course I’m in my 40s and I should be able to cope with anything ‘101’, so if it weren’t straight forward I’d start panicking about now.

My sister has been here for a chunk of last week and the first two days of this week, so Monday and Tuesday haven’t been on the table to study, but I’m confident I can make it up tomorrow.

Biggest complaint

There’s this thing happening in one of my classes where they link to things like articles or journals, but they’re behind paywalls. I really need that not to continue because I can’t get subscriptions to every darn thing just to read one or two articles for class. MOST stuff is available either through the Uni’s subscriptions to peer reviewed journals or I’ve been able to find them at the library… but a few things have been for cost only and they’re things that didn’t NEED to be required reading. Like they’re example articles, they could have found examples that aren’t behind paywalls.
